Installation: 2023, August
120 plant and animal design patterns, plexiglas cutouts, stainless steel suspension mounting

The artwork “Rainbow” draws inspiration from the site’s former life as the Quebec Zoological Garden, transforming this history into a vibrant natural canopy of 120 colourful patterns—each referencing an animal or plant. Echoing the playful spirit of children’s drawings and the cut-paper style of Matisse, the installation fosters a joyful connection between children and nature through colour and light. Suspended as a floating landscape, it infuses the school’s biophilic architectural environment with brightness, curiosity, and wonder.
