Inkjet printed fabrics, mirrors of different sizes, fishing lines, hanging structures
This project was created during the 37th International Symposium of Contemporary Art at Baie-Saint-Paul, centered around the theme of 'Art, architecture, landscape, and environment.' When the studio windows are open, a gentle breeze moves the unevenly sized mirrors illuminated by the lights in front of the installation, creating a shimmering effect reminiscent of sunlight reflecting on the surface of the ocean. This project embodies the Chinese concept of landscape, where the term 'landscape' in Chinese (风景) translates to wind and light. This project received the 'Coup de Coeur' award at the 37th Edition of the International Symposium of Contemporary Art in Baie-Saint-Paul, QC, in 2019.
