Inkjet printed fabrics, mirrors of different sizes, fishing lines, hanging structures
This project was created during the 37th International Symposium of Contemporary Art in Baie-Saint-Paul, exploring the theme "Art, Architecture, Landscape, and Environment." When the studio windows are open, a gentle breeze sets unevenly sized mirrors in motion, their surfaces catching the light and creating a shimmering effect reminiscent of sunlight dancing on the ocean. The work embodies the Chinese concept of landscape, where the term "风景" (landscape) translates literally to "wind and light." In 2019, this project was honored with the "Coup de Coeur" award at the 37th edition of the International Symposium of Contemporary Art in Baie-Saint-Paul, QC.
